The word evangelist comes from the Greek word “evangelion” which means “to bring good news.” Gadara Ministries are good news carriers proclaiming the good news of the Gospel and drawing people to follow Jesus Christ.

Although there are people specifically called to be evangelists according to the five fold ministry, ALL Christ followers are called to evangelize and reach out to the lost with the Gospel.

We are zealous advocators of taking the church to the people, going out and presenting the Gospel and winning souls for and in Jesus’ Name.

Our mandate of our Lord and Saviour is found in Matthew 28:19 (NKJV) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”

Through and under the Power of the Holy Spirit we become the hands and feet of Jesus, effectively communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others.  We are burdened for the lost and will go out our way to share the truth with them.

We will strive to continually seek out relationships with those who don’t know Jesus and are open to the leading of the Holy Spirit to approach different people.

We do not only want to go out ourselves to share the good news of Jesus Christ, but also want to empower the body of Christ to do likewise, teaching them to share the Gospel effectively, Biblically, the way Jesus did it.
